Dr. Della Roca has been in the field of oculofacial surgery since 1974. He is a nationally recognized surgeon and a highly respected teacher and author. He specializes in eye plastic and reconstructive orbital eye surgery. In recognition of his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Della Rocca is routinely listed as one of the top surgeons in the nation by Castle Connolly America’s Top Doctors and other industry publications.

Professional and Academic Positions

In addition to being recruited by the nation’s leading practices to help with extremely sensitive reconstructive eye surgeries and treatments, Dr. Della Rocca has been Chief of the Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery department at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary since 1981. He is also Chief of Ophthalmology at the St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.
